Delighted to have framed this very large Yaacov Agam serigraph for Michael. We used a UV-filtering reduced-reflection shatterproof Museum acrylic to preserve and protect it always!		Our happy client, Jackson, just picked up his unique 15th century Gregorian Chant that we float-framed for him. Instead of using adhesives, we used Mylar strips and UV-filtering Museum Glass to preserve for the next 600 years.
Cornelia brought us this fabulous ink drawing she created. We perfectly matted and framed it for an undergraduate exhibition at Michigan State University. Outstanding artist and a delight to have assisted her!		Eric selected this joyful watercolor by Dutch-born Tunis Ponsen and he just picked it up after we double mat framed it with an inner gold fillet to match the frame. No reflection as we used Museum Glass.
Lars brought us this joyful photo by long-time National Geographic photographer Michael Nichols showing primatologist Jane Goodall with chimpanzee Jou Jou. We custom matted and framed it in a textured mist-green-over-silver frame with reduced-reflection Museum Glass. Turned out perfectly with the photo!		Joshua brought us this Cleon Peterson screen print for custom framing. Selected a deep black frame with thin red line to match the lines in the print. Floated on black with reduced-reflection Museum Glass and deep spacer to keep the glass off the art. Stunning presentation!
Beth is delighted picking up the float framing we did of her watercolor of a woman peering through flowers. The frame was hand-finished in Italy and matches the colors in the artwork! We used non-reflective Museum Glass that appears invisible!		A delight to have welcomed and presented a program and tour to the Michigan State University Community Club Visual Arts Interest Group!
In celebration of their second wedding anniversary, Cassy and Derrick selected this David Herzig watercolor (among other artworks) to add to their collection! Art is the best gift to select and share forever together!		Phillip brought us an original painting by fantasy artist Joe Jusko that was used for a collectible Topps trading card. We float-framed the card and painting in the perfect frame with reduced-reflection Museum Glass!
For years Christina wanted to own Stratosphere by British artist Frederick Phillips. We found it for her, framed it and now she and Jonathan have what they dreamed of owning long ago! What may we find for you?!		To celebrate his son's state championship win with the Okemos High School soccer team, Howard had us shadow-box (in a leather frame with nearly invisible glass) Charlie's jersey, letters, and medals to commemorate the achievement!
Kristin and her daughters picked up framing of a couple artworks they selected here. It was a delight to have the girls be a part of the art and frame selection process and share the joy of picking up the framed artworks to surprise dad!		A client brought us a large box with 50 pounds of broken ceramic shards. Erin successfully repaired, filled in, cleaned, touched-up, and reassembled the sculpture. Task was like putting together and restoring a 3-D jigsaw puzzle!
We just framed this amazing collection of butterflies that Jamie inherited from her great uncle who collected them over 80 years ago. We love preserving memories for today as they often become heirlooms for future generations. What may be frame for you?!		Madi and mom Kathryn brought us these two silkscreen prints that they acquired in Haines, Alaska during a family cruise. So delighted to have matted and framed the prints for them! We love preserving memories of happy occasions! (Check out the no-reflection Museum Glass!)
We just double matted and float framed this unique pointillist drawing by Mary Ann Lawson for joyful Greg and Tim. Amazing clarity and no reflection because we used Museum Glass!		Delighted to have welcomed Michigan State University Art History Association members for a gallery visit and tour December 2022!
Zachary came to us from Owosso (Michigan) to have us mat and frame his heirloom 19th century Michigan map with Museum Glass and a period correct frame. Turned out perfectly!		Tomohiro and family drove 9 hours from Nashville, Tennessee to East Lansing, Michigan to select linocuts by artist William Hays whose impressive prints are inspired by Japanese Ukiyo-e woodblock prints.
Jay surprised his wife with this Kathleen Chaney Fritz canvas Sailing Lake Charlevoix (Michigan)" ordered from us before their move from Tennessee to western Michigan. We made the Happy Anniversary sign to greet them both. Sharing the joy of art!		Delighted to have welcomed Michigan State University teacher prep students October 12, 2022. They each selected a work of art to write a poem (inspired by the artwork) for their Reading, Writing and Teaching Poetry class taught by poet Laura Apol!

Amanda and Alia from Oakland, California came to East Lansing for spring break and to visit family -- and selected this beautiful cobalt Hebron glass vase to take back home!
Carrie and daughter Kate invited Ray to the gallery and surprised him with a card and ribbon bow next to the Kathleen Chaney Fritz canvas they gifted to him!		Kate created this multi-layered painting depicting the critical final play of the Michigan State University win in the 2014 Rose Bowl. We created a matted shadow box frame to accommodate the painting depth.
Honored to have framed the beautiful wedding ketubah for newlyweds Char and Jeff! Mazel tov!		National Art Honor Society members from Bath (Michigan) High School toured Saper Galleries November 18, 2021.
"Sideways", the movie, was advertised with this hanging mobile-like sign that Annette framed for our client John. The deep frame included three wine corks.		We floated six Hratchya etchings in solid walnut frames for Patty and Ray!
Graduating Holt (Michigan) High School Advanced Placement art students visited the gallery for a field trip after a year of being in class online!		Friend of the gallery, Jackson, delivered a framed self portrait he drew of himself as a gift to Roy Saper. It's now displayed in Roy's office! Thank you, Jackson, for your gift and family's visits!
We just custom framed this amazingly detailed beaded cross-stitch for artisan Jennifer who is happy with the velvet, curved-edge, triple matting and two nested gold frames.		Lansing's poet laureate and Michigan State University College of Education professor Laura Apol's teacher education students visited to write poems based on art they selected on display here.

A "corn plant" in our center gallery started this stalk of fragrant jasmine-smelling blossoms (May, 17, 2012) that open in late afternoon and fill the gallery with the most beautiful scent. We hope you got to see (and smell!) the very rare display!		Dan surprised Jen with a work of art by Rob Gonsalves that he ordered for her from Saper Galleries. We displayed it on the wall with the large card for her to discover when they visited on their 8th wedding anniversary, May 8, 2012!

Wow! These blossoms grew super fast from a stalk that magically appeared from one of the "corn plants" in the center gallery in late December, 2011. Some say the blossoms (which open in late afternoon and close after a few hours) appear once every 10 or 20 years and bring luck. This is the first time we've seen this plant flower! The jasmine fragrance is beautiful!		More than 170 ceramic relief tiles by Israeli artist Ruth Faktor as displayed in the center gallery at the First Sunday Gallery Walk, December 4, 2011. The women of Michigan State University's REAAL group (Radiating Excellence in All Areas of Life) had a silent auction art fund-raiser at Saper Galleries October 15, 2009 to support a mentoring program for Lansing youth.		You could feel the rhythm and beat from the Drum Crazy ensemble of East Lansing which tested the acoustics at Saper Galleries September 10, 2009. Wonderful sounds that you just didn't want to end!

Wexford Montessori Magnet School students in Lansing spent three hours touring the Dr. Seuss exhibition and writing about selected works of art by the artist December 3, 2008.
Art students from Lansing Community College were treated to a tour of the Dr. Seuss exhibition November 24, 2008.		Students from East Lansing, Michigan's Stepping Stones Montessori elementary program visited the Dr. Seuss exhibition November 20, 2008. What wonderful, thoughtful, observant students!

Girl Scouts from St. Thomas Aquinas Troop 301 visited Saper Galleries October 8, 2008 and had a sneak preview of art that will be displayed at the Dr. Seuss exhibition which opens November 2!		Students participating in the summer English Language Center program at Michigan State University visited the gallery from Dubai, South Korea, Spain, Libya, and Taiwan July 29, 2008.
A second group of visitors studying English at Michigan State University (MSU) toured the gallery from Saudi Arabia, Korea, Taiwan, and United Arab Emirates, also on July 29, 2008.		The fourth group of students studying the English language at MSU enjoyed visiting the gallery from Thailand, Taiwan, UAE, and Korea.
Wow! Even more students visited through the MSU summer program, these from Oman, Japan, Argentina, Taiwan, UAE, and South Korea. What a great group!		Students from Germany visited Saper Galleries on June 19, 2008. Their trip to Lansing was through the Visiting International Exchange program between KSN Stuttgart and Lansing Community College.
Travel writers Sandra, Sabrena, Lauren, and Margot, visited Saper Galleries June 9, 2008 and met with Michigan artists Michael Callihan, Kathleen Chaney-Fritz, Mary Ann Southworth, and Barbara McCleary. Is this a fun group or what?!		Visiting scholars and professionals from China toured Saper Galleries May 8, 2008.
A "Murder Mystery" event was at held at Saper Galleries and neighboring Wild Goose Inn April 12, 2008, with arrangements planned by students from Michigan State University!		The women of Dorcas Circle from East Lansing's People's Church gathered at Saper Galleries March 18, 2008 where Roy Saper provided tips to better understanding issues related to collecting, evaluating and preserving our own collections.
Mrs. York's East Lansing High School Spanish class students visited Saper Galleries March 10, 2008 to complete an assignment answering questions about selected works of art in Spanish! Mid-Michigan Art Guild Members met at Saper Galleries November 15, 2007 for a presentation on matting and framing issues presented by Roy Saper.		East Lansing High School art teachers Cindy, Robin, and Jeanie visited Saper Galleries for a professional enrichment experience October 3, 2007. Advanced East Lansing High School art students visit the gallery as part of their learning experience.
Students and faculty from Germany and Austria visited Saper Galleries on June 19, 2007. Their trip to Lansing was through the Visiting International Exchange program between KSN Stuttgart and Lansing Community College.		International scholars from China, Thailand, and Korea visit Saper Galleries June 4, 2007 through the Visiting International Professional Program at Michigan State University.
Friends Kay, Joyce, Lois and Barbara enjoyed their reunion and visit to Saper Galleries from Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Indiana in March, 2007!		Spartan Child Development Center students studied colors and shapes at Saper Galleries February 2, 2007.
On November 30, 2006, Mrs. York's East Lansing High School Spanish Class students visited Saper Galleries for a project requiring them to select a work of art and write about it in Spanish.		Inforum (the former Women's Economic Club) of Mid-Michigan celebrated the holiday season with a gathering at Saper Galleries November 29, 2006
MSU Evening College students of Roy Saper's class "Art Savvy: Collecting Art for the Beginner and Connoisseur" gather October 4, 2006.		The Greater Lansing Hadassah group met at Saper Galleries September 13, 2006 to hear Roy Saper speak about a dozen Israeli artists who created works of art in the Gallery's inventory.
Bailey Community Center Kids walked to Saper Galleries July 26, 2006 to learn about the various art media that artists are making today! And we enjoyed their enthusiasm and interest! The students are seated in the east gallery in front of the newly arrived paintings by Eric Waugh. The students also enjoyed the magic realism of Rob Gonsalves!		On July 16, 2006 students from one of the area Montessori schools visited Saper Galleries and created their own drawings after touring the gallery!
